Hi, I’m Oscar from Kansas City — a QC Microbiology Senior Technician who started in biopharma straight out of high school. Growing up in a low-income community as the son of two immigrant parents, I never thought I’d be working in this field. A high school biomanufacturing program sparked my curiosity, mentors opened doors, and micro-credentials gave me the skills to grow from manufacturing to Quality Control. Now, I’m focused on learning, connecting, and helping others see that opportunity doesn’t have just one entry point.
